MedSTEd was founded by Radhika Srinivasan who was born and grew up in Epsom, England, and settled in Turin, Italy in January 2005.
Radhika was awarded her Biochemistry degree from the University of Southampton in 2000. After a six-month period of teaching English in South India, she returned to the UK to commence her doctoral degree at the University of Manchester. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Research in 2005, and her work was published in the American Journal of Physiology. |

On arrival in Turin, Radhika worked for three years as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (IRCC), carrying out investigations into the identification of cancer stem cells. Since January 2009, Radhika has been primarily focused on Scientific Editing and Translation, both for the University of Turin, and on a freelance basis. She also has extensive experience in Project Management (including a training period at ARTTIC, International Management Services, Paris).
